Connections promotes and provides opportunities for adults with mental illness in the Catawba Valley region to lead meaningful and productive lives of their choice in the community. We achieve this goal by providing meaningful work, meaningful relationships, and the chance to feel a sense of belonging to a welcoming community.

Connections is located in Newton, North Carolina (in the western part of the state in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains). The clubhouse is in a rural area, on the outskirts of town. The grounds cover over five acres and the combined buildings give us over 5,000 square feet of working space. We are a program of Catawba Valley Behavioral Healthcare.
